About

I have been a potter in Quebec, Canada since the mid-seventies, working in a variety of situations, but my studio has been home-based for many years. I work mainly in reduction-fired porcelain and stoneware, hoping to create pieces that are strong on form. Therefore decoration is often understated and follows the conversation started by the natural surface of the clay. I like to achieve a sense of movement in my work; very often my pieces speak quite clearly of the processes involved in their making.
Should you be interested in a closer look at my work you can visit one of the retail locations or annual shows listed here.
